Simultim
Missions
Simultim has been created to train operators – in groups or individually – in the use of equipment and in the implementation of procedures and tactical plans. It also enables certain crewmembers to acquire proficiency in the use of critical systems. When preparing a naval group for an operation, Simultim makes it possible to explore the operational requirements and to develop new ways to organize the crews’ different tasks.
Platform simulator
Simultim enables operators in surface vessels and submarines to learn how to manage the propulsion system, nuclear reactor, electrical installations, and the security systems; the solution also provides them with training in these skills.
Navigation simulator
The simulator provides a realistic image of the coast, visual nautical landmarks and meteorological and maritime environmental conditions to facilitate training in sailing along coastlines, avoiding collisions and detecting, and intercepting, other ships.
Tactical simulators
The tactical simulators put the operators in the combat information centers in the type of situations they can encounter in real life by creating a naval combat environment and by simulating the functioning of the vessel’s different equipment through the creation of varied and open-ended naval combat scenarios.
Demonstrators of operational requirements
These demonstrators have been created to help the designers and specifiers of combat, management or navigation systems in their work of building or modifying these systems with a view to satisfying customers’ requirements and specifications and to providing client navies with solutions that match their needs as closely as possible.
