Naval Tactical Integrated Combat System

SETIS is a multi role integrated combat system for intense naval operations. SETIS manages anti-surface, anti-air and anti-submarine warfare and can be upgraded to meet evolving requirements. SETIS combines a large set of equipment, sensors or weapons to complete missions such as deep strike, land-attack, aircraft management….. The high capability of SETIS mainly relies on a full integrated Combat Management System which operates all the system functions.

Scalable and evolutive

The extensive use of COTS (off the shelf components) in the SETIS core CMS guarantee a high reliability and availability of the system. SETIS can be configured for customised solutions according to operational requirements. SETIS can be customised during its lifetime to maintain its operational superiority and adapt to the fast evolving navies missions. (mine warfare, UXV integration and management, asymmetric threats etc.)

Joint operation capability

SETIS is fully interoperable with French and international datalinks to allow all types of joint operations. It includes an extensive Command Support System with mission planning, command aids, secure messaging and recognised maritime picture (RMP).

Fitted for modernisation programmes

SETIS can be installed as part of a warship modernisation programme to improve awareness, interoperability, operational capabilities. SETIS is also adapted for technology transfer programmes

Long term Support

DCNS, as the French Navy main prime contractor, owns all the expertise, industrial means and tools to provide long-term support during system entire lifecycle (maintenance, obsolescence management, technical facts recording and analysis, database updates….)
